“Upon the Rood-Day: The Witchcraft of Christsonday and the Queen of Elphen” is a 16 Week course in Traditional Witchcraft taught by Robin Artisson. This the first comprehensive course in Witchcraft ever taught by Robin personally, drawing upon and revealing many of his personal and private insights and methods of witching which have been refined by him over 25 years.

This course includes a survey of Early Modern Witchcraft from Britain, focusing on the regions of Banffshire and Aberdeenshire in Scotland. This course analyzes the mysteries that emerge from the confessions of the historical Scottish witches Andro Man and Marion Grant, regarding the nature of the two beings they claimed gave them power: Christsonday, thought by many to be the Devil, and his mate the Queen of Elphen.

Robin’s attempts to contact Christsonday in 2018 led to the creation of a private Grimoire and dream-journal called The Book of Jaudaret, the contents of which contain wonderful (and sometimes disturbing) revelations about the nature of spirits, this world, and instructions for certain sorcerous workings. Many of The Book of Jaudaret’s contents are being shared in this course as well.

This course is delivered to students over 16 weeks in the form of 16 detailed written and illustrated course modules, videos demonstrating certain techniques and operations, and recorded lectures. Another optional component of the course is direct interaction with the instructor and other students in the FaceBook group for the course.

Description

This course comprehensively presents a complete working system of witchcraft or sorcery which is suitable for those who have never practiced any form of the craft before, just as it is suitable for study by advanced crafters who might greatly benefit their own practices thereby. The method of Witchcraft taught in this course is inspired by Early Modern occult history and practices as well as the course instructor’s own spiritual visions and contacts. It represents a more thorough public sharing of his private working system, developed and proven over 25 years, which has not before been seen.

The course content will be shared weekly in the form of illustrated modules that contain charts, diagrams, illustrations, and detailed instructions from Robin in every aspect of this Craft. Videos demonstrating certain techniques and practices along with recorded lectures will also be included.

The second focus of this course is a hand-written and unpublished dream journal and Grimoire created by Robin Artisson between the years of 2018 and 2021 called The Book of Jaudaret. It details Robin’s successful attempt to gain visionary contact with the Spirit-Being known to Scottish Witch History and Folklore as Christsonday, and the spirit-persons attached to his retinue. What Robin learned from these beings, along with Robin’s method for creating that enduring preternatural contact (which led to months’ worth of magisterial or dream-visionary teaching experiences) is to be shared so that course-takers who wish to enact this special form of spirit-learning can make the attempt.

Eighteen of the dream-visions gained by Robin from this working will be given to the course-takers, copied directly from The Book of Jaudaret and expressed in prose form, along with detailed elucidations of their meanings. This is provided for the inspiration and guidance of class participants as they forge their own path through this deep learning experience.

This course includes a thorough analysis of the confessed beliefs, experiences, and practices of historical Scottish witches Andro Man and Marion Grant, whose words brought the name Christsonday to history, and Robin’s own occult theories regarding the true nature of the powerful beings that this man and woman once created powerful relationships with.
